The most common types of eyebrow rings are small straight barbells, small curved barbells and small captive bead rings. All of these kinds of eyebrow rings put varying degrees of pressure on the piercing, which can cause irritation or piercing migration over time, especially in fresh piercings. So you should choose the lightest weight eyebrow rings in the smallest size possible made from the lightest weight materials possible like titanium or acrylic. But be aware that if the gauge is too small that will also allow migration so the larger gauges are safer to prevent migration. Most eyebrows are pierced at a 40 degree angle from the outside corner of the eye but it can be pierced anywhere along the eyebrow from directly above the eye, to the outside edge of the eyebrow.
